District Energy Emissions Savings Calculator
This basic calculator is designed to provide high-level emissions savings estimates for replacing existing space heating systems with District Energy. The exact savings will depend on a multitude of project specific variables and conditions which are further determined during project feasibility and design. The calculations demonstrate that the emissions savings will be relative to the efficiency of the existing system, the efficiency of the DE network and the energy sources supplying the DE system.
